Production Time

All Laura Zindel ceramic products are made to order in our Vermont studio. Because our work is made by hand, orders typically take 2-6 weeks to ship depending on the quantity and type of items ordered. You will receive an email with an estimated ship date within 48 hours of placing your order.

Shipping Information

All orders within the continental U.S. are shipped via FedEx ground and should arrive 3-7 business days from date of shipment. Please note that FedEx does not ship to PO or APO addresses.

All orders will be carefully packaged and insured, however we are not responsible for theft or damage to packages once delivered. If you do not want FedEx to leave a package at your door you must contact us to alert FedEx that a signature is required for delivery.

Because of the size and weight of our work, we do not offer overnight, 2-day, or weekend deliveries. Please contact us if you need to expedite your order and we will do our best to accommodate your request.

Payment Information

We accept Visa, Master Card, Discover and American Express only. We do not accept personal checks.
Because we do not store any credit card information, your credit/debit card will be billed automatically at time of purchase. If you would like to change or cancel your order after payment has been made, you may do so up to the time your items have been shipped. If you wish to return or exchange your order after shipment, please see our Return Policies noted below.
Once your order is shipped you will be sent a tracking number by e-mail. A receipt for your purchases will be included with shipment.

Gift Items

Gift Certificates: We offer gift cards in any denomination. Gift cards are shipped in a Laura Zindel Gift Box according to our standard shipping policies. A shipping and handling charge of $4.00 will be added to all gift card orders. If you would like to order a gift certificate, please click here.
We do not offer gift wrapping, but will be happy to include a Laura Zindel gift card with a personal inscription from you.

Sales Tax

Sales tax will be automatically applied to orders placed only within the state of Vermont.

Return Policies

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you would like to return or exchange your purchase please contact us. Items may be returned within 2 weeks from the date of delivery.
If your item arrives damaged or your order was shipped incorrectly, please contact us immediately and we will be happy to send you a replacement at no extra charge. Please keep the original packaging intact until you have contacted us.

Please allow 2-3 weeks for the processing of your return. We do not refund shipping costs on returns and exchanges. Special orders and sale items are not accepted for returns or exchanges.

To return an item

Please contact us within 2 weeks from the date of delivery and alert us to the problem and we will provide a return authorization. All items must be returned in the original packing materials and packed in the manner in which it was sent. Please include your name, address, contact information, date of purchase, and order number. Also include a note indicating the problem and specify if you would like a refund or an exchange.

Laura Zindel Design is not responsible for items that are lost or damaged when they are shipped back to us, so please insure and track your packages.
We are not responsible for the shipping fees for returns or exchanges except for items that are received damaged or in error.

ORDERING INFORMATION

First orders: Minimum is $500 and must be paid by credit card, charged the day your order ships. Please note that if your first order is placed through our website your card will be billed automatically at the time of purchase.

Reorders: There is no minimum for reorders. We offer Net 30 payment terms to returning customers, payable by credit card or check. Please note that we do not store your credit card information online; if you would like us to keep your credit card on file we can arrange this by phone.

A final invoice/packing slip will be included with all shipments.

A receipt will be included with all shipments. If orders are placed online, an order history will be available with your account information for future reference. 

PRODUCTION TIME

All Laura Zindel ceramic products are made to order in our Vermont studio — we do not keep stock. Orders are queued within our existing schedule at the time they are placed. We highly recommend placing advance orders, as reserve time is often necessary during high production months.

A 5% handling fee is added to all orders.
